      The minimum age for selling alcohol is 18 or can be supervised by an individual at least 21. For serving alcohol, the minimum age is 21, except for bona fide public eating places, where the minimum age is 18.

      Bartending Laws and Regulations in California

      In compliance with CA Assembly Bill 1221, bartenders, servers, and managers must obtain valid Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Training from an ABC-accredited license provider and pass an exam within 60 days of their hire date.
